What should be paid attention to when installing peristaltic pump pipes?
Answer: 1. Before installing the pump pipe, place the pump on a flat surface, otherwise the pipe may get stuck during installation.
2. The pump pipe should be installed close to the pump head (as straight as possible), and the part of the pump pipe inside the pump head should not be too long, as this will cause the pump flange to scratch the hose during pump operation.
3. Before use, the pump pipe should be cleaned externally without leaving any magazines, otherwise it will affect the resilience of the pump pipe and the accuracy of transportation.
4. Determine the specifications of the pump head, not all hoses can be installed on the same type of pump head, otherwise there will be pipe leakage.
5. The peristaltic pump pipe needs to be tightened with a clamp to avoid any movement.
Question: The pump tube cannot rebound, the tube wall thins too quickly, and abnormal wear occurs.
Answer: This phenomenon is usually caused by the runner getting stuck, the pump pressure block contacting the surface of the pump pipe, impurities on the runner, and high rotational speed. After the rotating wheel of the pump head is stuck, the rotating wheel of the peristaltic pump directly scrapes over the peristaltic pump pipe, which increases the friction on the surface of the hose, causing the surface temperature of the hose to rise very high and wear the surface of the hose. Excessive temperature can also cause the hose to lose elasticity, and in extreme cases, temperatures exceeding 140 degrees Celsius can even cause the hose to melt and deform.
It is recommended to inspect the entire pump after a period of use, clean the surface of the pump head roller, and select the appropriate speed.
